Since its founding in the 1970s, the Ledbetter family-owned Vino Farms has successfully grown and managed thousands of acres of wine grapes throughout California. Now under the leadership of the third generation of Ledbetter family members, Vino Farms has leveraged its growth on partnerships, diversification, and tapping into emerging markets.

Initially located in Lodi (San Joaquin County) and Sonoma County, Vino Farms expanded its operations to cover other areas in California: San Joaquin, Sacramento, Yolo, Solano, Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Monterey Counties. The expansion helped diversify risk and reduce potential losses in the event of poor harvests caused by adverse weather or unfavorable market conditions in certain regions. Vino Farms has partnered closely with farmers, strategic businesses, and investors to maintain seamless operations, with a strong focus on sustainable farming practices.

Besides multiple decades of success in vineyard farming and management, Vino Farms is also heavily involved in local communities where it operates. Some of the organizations supported by the company include Hospice of San Joaquin, Lodi Chamber of Commerce, Lodi House, Lodi Memorial Hospital, Hutchins Street Square Foundation, Relay for Life, Lodi Boys and Girls Club, Lodi Teen 180 Center, Lodi House and 4H/FFA in Sonoma and San Joaquin Counties. In addition, the Ledbetters have shared their winegrape farming expertise and leadership with various agricultural organizations. Some of the benefitting organizations include the, California Association of Winegrape Growers (CAWG), Sonoma County Winegrowers, Sonoma County Winegrowers Foundation, Lodi Winegrape Commission, Unified Wine and Grape Symposium, Agricultural Worker Health and Housing Commission, American Vineyard Foundation, California Wine Education Foundation, Lodi District Grape Growers Association, and Winegrape Growers of America.
